Luciana Guardini is a Licensed Clinical Social Worker (LCSW) at CAPS. Luciana earned her Master in Social Work at the School of Social Work at University of Illinois in 2010. Since then, she has worked in the community, as well as University of Illinois at Urbana-Champaign Counseling Center, with diverse population in the substance abuse and mental health fields.
Luciana is originally from Argentina, where she earned her first degree in Psychology. She has also earned a Master in Clinical Psychology in Chile. Some of her areas of interest are: first-generation college students, international students, second-generation immigrant students, Latino students, survivors of interpersonal trauma, and substance abuse. Luciana is part of the Let’s Talk program. Her off-site locations are the Office of International Services and La Casa Latino Cultural Center. Luciana is a native Spanish speaker and provides services in both English and Spanish.
