The Office for Sexual Violence Prevention and Victim Advocacy is committed to ending sexual violence on campus.

We work on both sides of the issue - prevention and response. We work with the student-led, staff supported initiative Culture of Care to provide bystander intervention programming to prevent violence before it occurs. We also can connect you to resources to help you overcome the physical and emotional impact of sexual violence and misconduct.

The best way to end violence is to prevent it. The best way to create a better community is to have the Courage to Care. We provide several prevention programs.

If you or someone you know is in an unhealthy or abusive relationship or has experienced any type of sexual violence, our Confidential Victim Advocates (CVA) can help you sort things out.

Sexual violence includes:

  • Sexual assault (including rape)
  • Harassment
  • Stalking
  • Domestic or dating violence
  • Sexual exploitation

A Confidential Victim Advocate will listen to your situation and provide you options and resources.
