The Dean of Students Office is your go-to office for everything IU. We can help you understand the university’s policies and procedures, keep you informed on important dates and deadlines, connect you to resources on campus, and answer your toughest questions.
Students enroll one parent or guardian as a member of the Parents Association when they apply to IU. To verify your enrollment, or to add family members, contact the Parents Association at 812-855-8187 or mykidis@indiana.edu.
No dues are required.
Each fall, we host an IU Family Weekend to give students an opportunity to share IU traditions and discoveries with their loved ones. Together you can tour the IU campus, explore Bloomington, and meet other IU parents.

Your PTO days aren’t necessarily over. Members of the Parents Advisory Board attend meetings twice a year, share input with the Dean of Students, sponsor programs for future IU families, and more.
