Get Involved

Student Life and Learning encourages you to get involved at IU.

There are more than 750 registered student organizations and clubs on campus, all created and led by students. There is something for almost everyone – and if not, you can create your own organization!

Here are a few ways to begin.

Join a Student Organization

Check out beINvolved. This new system allows student organizations to update and manage their profile, roster, a photo gallery, and submit any announcements to their page for both members and the public to see. If you have any questions regarding our new system, please email

Meet with an Involvement Advisor

Overwhelmed with all the choices or just not sure where to begin? We would love to help you get started!

You can connect with one of our advisors by emailing, calling 855-4311, or stopping by our office in the Indiana Memorial Union for drop-in advising.

Go to a Student Involvement Fair

The Student Involvement Fair is an annual campus event held at the beginning of the fall and spring semesters to introduce you to opportunities to become involved both on and off campus. Learn more about the Student Involvement Fair and mark your calendar for the next fair.
