Community Engagement at IU
IU Civic Engagement Campus Community Stakeholders
This IU group is made up of staff, community representatives, and students who facilitate curricular or co-curricular service at IU. The Stakeholders plan opportunities for enhancing town-gown partnerships, such as the Campus-Community Speed Matching event, and build student access to community-based learning experiences. Email firstname.lastname@example.org for more info.
The Service-Learning Program works with faculty to integrate the Indiana University Bloomington academic community and surrounding communities through service-learning and community-based research activities. Students may want to check out their information about service-learning classes and the service-learning leadership program, Advocates for Community Engagement (ACE).
Indiana Campus Compact
Indiana Campus Compact (ICC), for which IU is a member, is a network of college campuses dedicated to advancing citizenship and service as critical components of higher education. Check out their website for civic engagement opportunities, resources and grants for students and student organizations.
