Practicum and Internship Experiences at OASIS
OASIS works with many departments on the IU Campus, including satellites. Departments include, but are not limited to, IU Schools of Counseling and Educational Psychology, Higher Education, School of Public Health, Social Work, Law and Psychology and Brain Sciences.
If you are interested in completing an internship or practicum placement with OASIS, please contact our intervention coordinator, Heather Barrett, at (812) 856-3898 or email email@example.com.
Harm Reduction Team
OASIS hires a team of undergraduate and graduate students each spring for the following academic year to work on our harm reduction team. This team is responsible for educational workshops, tabling, health fairs, and the promotion of safety efforts on campus.
If you are interested in joining the team or volunteering at events and programs, contact firstname.lastname@example.org.
OASIS currently has a research team responsible for investigating the efficacy of OASIS services, including intervention, education and prevention programs, as well as analyzing and reporting the data. We store all relevant campus data relevant to alcohol and drug use, and use the information to further prevention efforts on campus.
If you are interested in learning more about research and data collected at OASIS, please contact Jackie Daniels, Director, at email@example.com. If you are a student seeking research experience, we have opportunities for you.
