SPH-W classes
Earn class credit while learning a new outdoor activity in our SPH-W classes. Offered by the Department of Health and Wellness Design in the IU School of Public Health-Bloomington, our courses are designed to introduce you to the basics of many popular outdoor recreation activities. Classes include mountain biking, whitewater kayaking, rock climbing, backpacking, and many more.

Trainings and workshops
For a more in-depth skill building session, IU Outdoor Adventures offers a wide range of trainings, workshops, and clinics to develop the technical skills in various outdoor activities. These opportunities are designed more on particular technical skills and range in length, duration, and required skill set. Our programs are open to IU and the community and include whitewater kayak and canoe training, the stand-up paddle board series, and bike maintenance clinics.
