Banff Mountain Film Festival
Each spring, IU Outdoor Adventures brings the Banff Mountain Film Festival to the Buskirk-Chumley Theater in Bloomington as a part of the festival’s World Tour. As one of the largest adventure film festivals in the world, the film fest features films celebrating adventure, exploration, and the great outdoors.

The Heartland Region Student Summit is a conference designed for students and emerging professionals in outdoor and adventure education. The summit provides its participants a chance to learn and grow from one another experientially while developing a professional network in a camp setting.

Need some outdoor gear? IUOA’s annual gear swap is a way to trade, buy, and sell new and used gear. From sleeping bags, climbing shoes, and backpacks, this event is a great way to outfit yourself for your next adventure at a fraction of the cost. Held the second Saturday in December, the event is free to the public for purchasing. If you have gear you want to sell, please contact IUOA for more details.
