Peer Undergraduate Mentor Program
The Peer Undergraduate Mentor Program (PUMP) at Indiana University pairs students new to IU and DSS with upper class student mentors.
The PUMP mentors provide guidance, advice, and encouragement to mentees by sharing their own experiences regarding IU and the Office of Disability Services for Students. PUMP mentors help ease a new student’s transition from their previous school to IU by building relationships through one-on-one mentor meetings and larger social events.
PUMP is a student organization that works in partnership with DSS to promote student participation in all aspects of student life and aims to increase student retention and achievement.
