Maryjane came to CAPS in 2014 following several years with the Department of Veteran’s Affairs. She also has experience in a hospital setting, and as a home-based therapist for children and families in a rural Indiana county. Maryjane earned her bachelor’s degree in social work from Hope College in Holland, Michigan, in 2001 before earning a master’s degree from Indiana University in 2005. Specific interests include expanding access to care for mental health treatment, reducing stigma, housing and hunger relief, and community integration. Her work is particularly influenced by solution-focused, cognitive behavioral, and systems theories.
