About Felicia
Felicia came to CAPS following several years with the Indianapolis Counseling Center and has experience working in dynamic work environments requiring immediate and necessary conflict resolution between diverse groups of people with varying interests and values.
Felicia has not only worked with emergency communication teams within law enforcement agencies, but also served in the United States Army Reserve as a Behavioral Health Specialist. Felicia has experience working with a variety of adult outpatient clients who present with maladaptive criminal and/or violent behaviors and social concerns such as anger, grief, and substance use.
Felicia’s specific interests include military psychology, law enforcement mental health and wellness, conduct disorders, criminal behavior, substance use, secondary trauma, expressive arts, and family therapy. Her work is particularly influenced by empirically supported treatments such as cognitive-behavioral, humanistic-existential, person-centered, solution-focused, motivational interviewing and family-systems theories.
